Colorado gives me hope for a new heaven and a new earth. The last time I felt such affection for the world around me was in Africa. Deep joy. Profound longing. An ache to bundle up all of the beauty around me, package it in cloth and twine, and carry it in my hands for all of time. Perhaps that is why we are cautioned to worship the Creator. I am in love with His creation.
